50/31 Challenge for the national brain tumor society


O V E R V I E W

I developed the logo and visual identity for the 50/31 Challenge, an annual fundraising event supporting the National Brain Tumor Society. My work helped establish a recognizable, motivating brand for the challenge—appearing across social media, apparel, and digital promotions.

During the years I was involved, the campaign raised tens of thousands of dollars, with the visuals playing a key role in driving community participation and visibility for the cause.

50/31 Challenge 2023

I was contacted to create the logo and visual identity for the event in both 2023 and 2024 (the event creates a new identity every year). In 2023 the intention was to create something that would motivate the year’s runners with fun and high energy visuals, be informative for those being introduced to the event, and showcase the merchandise available for sale (in which a percentage went to the National Brain Tumor Society along with direct donations).


50/31 Challenge 2024

For 2024 we wanted to update the visual identity to reflect the running challenge as grittier, using a totally new color scheme, a more commanding typeface, and photography that portrayed running in a more dramatic light.
