ROLE

Logo Designer

Aaron Judge is one of the most recognizable athletes in professional baseball, and his personal brand extends far beyond the field. This project focused on creating a distinctive personal mark built from his initials and number, designed to represent him consistently across equipment, apparel, and media.

The goal was to develop a logo that felt powerful, timeless, and independent from team-specific branding, allowing the identity to grow with him throughout his career.

LOGO

Through creating this logo, I established a flexible identity system designed to adapt across equipment, apparel, and digital platforms.

Key elements included:

  • A monogram built from Aaron Judge’s initials, creating a distinctive and recognizable personal symbol.

  • A responsive logo system that scales from a detailed primary mark to simplified variations for small or constrained applications.

  • Integration of the number 99 as a secondary element that can be included or removed depending on context.

  • A structure designed for longevity, ensuring the logo remains relevant even if team colors, affiliations, or branding environments change.

The system was designed to be sharp, adaptable, and capable of representing Judge consistently across all brand executions.

IN USE

The logo is used across Aaron Judge’s brand ecosystem, appearing on apparel, accessories, and equipment. It was also featured on the cover of MLB The Show 26, extending the mark into one of baseball’s most widely recognized gaming platforms.
