50/31 Challenge
O V E R V I E W
The 50/31 Challenge is an annual fitness challenge and month-long event dedicated to raising money for the National Brain Tumor Society. Since it’s conception, close to $100,000 has been raised and every year that number rises as more people participate. I enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of this great cause, and to elevate its visual identity with the aim of helping it gain more traction and increase participation each year.

I was contacted to create the logo and visual identity for the event in both 2023 and 2024 (the event creates a new identity every year). In 2023 the intention was to create something that would motivate the year’s runners with fun and high energy visuals, be informative for those being introduced to the event, and showcase the merchandise available for sale (in which a percentage went to the National Brain Tumor Society along with direct donations).

For 2024 we wanted to update the visual identity to reflect the running challenge as grittier, using a totally new color scheme, a more commanding typeface, and photography that portrayed running in a more dramatic light.
